Studied outside of Sweden? This page shows admission requirements for each country!
If you wish to receive ECTS credits and apply for student aid or loans through CSN, you generally need to meet the following qualifications:
A high school diploma with a total of 2,500 credits and at least 2,250 credits passed with a grade of E/Pass or higher.
You must also have a passing grade (E or higher) in the following subjects:
Swedish A and B (or Swedish as a Second Language A & B)
English A
Mathematics A and B*
History A**
Social Science A
Natural Science A (or at least two of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Biology)
* Students from the Aesthetic Program meet the general requirements even without Mathematics B.
** Students from the Technology Program meet the general requirements even without History A.
It is also possible to qualify based on relevant work experience or previous university studies.
If you do not meet the formal admission requirements but still wish to study with us, you can choose to enroll without university credits. The certification (PT license) is identical regardless of whether or not you study for ECTS credits.
