How do I apply for PT PRO with university credits?

This article explains the booking process if you want to enrol in the PT PRO course with university credits.

Step 1 – Go to the PT PRO course page

Locate a course start date marked with “Högskolepoäng” (University Credits) under the “BOOK” section.


Step 2 – Ensure full-time availability

Make sure you are able to study full-time throughout the entire study period.


Step 3 – Book your course start on our website

You can book your spot on our website at any time.


Step 4 – Apply to Volda University College (HVO)

The application portal for HVO opens:

  • February 1st for the autumn semester

  • August 1st for the spring semester

You must apply on HVO’s website. You will receive your admission decision within 14 days.

Application deadline for Autumn 2025 is August 10th, and for Spring 2026 it is January 8th.

If you are admitted

You must log in to HVO Søknadsweb and accept the offer. You will then receive further instructions from HVO.

If any required documents are missing from your application, you will receive an email from HVO. The deadline for uploading missing documents is usually short, so make sure to check your email regularly.


Still in high school?

Are you in your final year and won’t receive your final grades until graduation? If so, you can still apply and upload your final grades later. Please follow these steps:

  • In the message box, write the following:

    “Utdanningen fullføres våren 20xx og dokumentasjon vil bli lastet opp xx/xx-xx”

    (Insert your expected graduation date and the date you expect to upload your grades)

  • Once your application is submitted, send an email to [email protected] stating that you’ve applied, will graduate this summer, and plan to upload your final grades as soon as they are available.

This ensures your application will not be rejected due to missing final grades.


IMPORTANT!

If your application to HVO is rejected and you wish to cancel your booking with us, you must notify us via email at [email protected] or via the chat on our website within 3 days of receiving the rejection.

Failure to notify us within this timeframe means you are financially responsible for the course according to The Academy’s booking terms.

(If you do not apply for university credits, the regular 14-day right of withdrawal applies.)
